Reif, Reif and Thalhofer traces its roots to the Canby firm of Bettis, Liberty and Reif, formed in 1964 by Raymond Reif and two other attorneys. Reif, Reif & Thalhofer has practiced in a number of areas of law including probate, estate planning, business law, general litigation, family law, telecommunications law, and personal injury law. Roger Reif joined the firm in 1975. The Reifs formed a separate partnership in 1982 when they moved to their current location. Paul Thalhofer left Bullivant, Houser, Bailey, Pendergrass and Hoffman of Portland, Oregon and joined the firm. The firm provides a full range of legal services for the Canby, Oregon community.
Over the years, the firm has been heavily involved in community activities and has been actively involved in the formation of several non-profit foundations that directly benefit the community. Members of the firm have served as officers in numerous community service organizations. The firm has sponsored a variety of youth programs, including soccer, baseball and football programs as part of its community service program.
